- Click on Download<\/strong>. \u00a0This step makes the book \u201cyours\u201d so you can highlight needed material. \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n

- Open the book and move past the title page and table of contents to access a chapter of text. <\/span><\/li>\n
- Click and hold a word until the word turns blue with a red border and a command line above the word selected.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Use the red dots to select as much text as you want. \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- Click on Add Note<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
- You are given a chance to type in a note – there’s no cursor, so<\/span>\u00a0just start typing. <\/span><\/li>\n
- When through, tap the \u201cclose keyboard\u201d button on bottom right of the iPad keyboard. \u00a0This pulls the keyboard down so you can\u2026.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Tap save<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

- Look under the <\/span>notebook icon<\/b> (upper right) and you will see the highlighted text that would be referenced in your paper, the date added to the notebook, with the page number.<\/span><\/li>\n
- You can Edit and delete any reference you want. \u00a0The highlight will disappear and so will the information found in My Notebook.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Take a screenshot and insert in Notability if you teacher needs to see progress or you want a hard copy to use.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
