[Adware is software that runs in teh background that pops up an overwhleming number of ads on each browser page you open.]<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino,serif;\">Here is a quick list of how to remove it:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino,serif;\">\u00a0Surf over to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.malwarebytes.org\/antimalware\/mac\/\">https:\/\/www.malwarebytes.org\/antimalware\/mac\/<\/a> and download the free malware remover from MalWareBytes. Install it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino,serif;\">Call up &#8220;About This Mac&#8221; from the Apple Menu. Note what Operating system you are using [10.8 or 10.10.11, etc.]<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino,serif;\">Then surf over to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.titanium.free.fr\/onyx.html\">http:\/\/www.titanium.free.fr\/onyx.html<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino,serif;\">Download the version of Onyx that is for YOUR system.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino,serif;\">CONTROL-CLICK the program icon, and select &#8220;open&#8221;<br \/>\nA dialog box will pop up &#8211; select Open, then install it.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino,serif;\">Start up Onyx. It will run a disk check. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino,serif;\">Then run the Maintenance scripts, and then the tasks in the &#8220;Cleaning&#8221; tab.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino,serif;\">Onyx will ask you to restart.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino,serif;\">THEN run MalwareBytes.
