{"id":375,"date":"2014-10-06T06:00:24","date_gmt":"2014-10-06T11:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tech2.mountdesales.net\/?p=375"},"modified":"2014-10-02T14:28:31","modified_gmt":"2014-10-02T19:28:31","slug":"ios-8-yes-you-can-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tech.mountdesales.net\/?p=375","title":{"rendered":"IOS 8 &#8211; YES you can update!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After some [NON-thorough] testing, it looks like OS 8 will work OK on our setups here at MDS.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the &#8220;gotchas&#8221;:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You <strong>MUST<\/strong> have 5.9 gigs of space available on your ipad.<br \/>\nCheck it in the Settings App &#8211;&gt; General &#8211;&gt; About &#8211;&gt; Available<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t have enough? Move your pictures and videos to your Google drive.<br \/>\nFire up the Drive app, click the plus sign [<em>top right<\/em>], and upload FROM the Camera roll. Once you are certain they have been uploaded [<em>doublecheck<\/em>!], then go to the Camera app, access the camera roll, and delete the files.<\/li>\n<li>You will have to update off campus. Plan on it taking a while- maybe an hour.<\/li>\n<li>Want to know more?
