On the screen where your documents are listed, at bottom left, click the gear icon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/KuV5q76qAZv2ODJ_7dXBGZ95CkyRYRETVQucCntPvWMsJ2BDWAH6PBWYwgSIY_1-NIYuv8aywkq025LD5Pg2ybZN1-T3v6eG61Hd39yB4HB-uIoXratU9mJUX-oifKz0wTkkWIEMQ9s\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>Gear = Settings.<br \/>? = help.<br \/>i = app info.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Select <strong>AutoBackup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. if <strong>Google Drive<\/strong> has a checkmark, your files are being backed up. Look at the bottom of the box to check the location &#8211; the iPad Guy suggests \/Notability\/ as the location [<em>i.e. inside a folder named &#8220;Notability&#8221;<\/em>]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If there is NO checkmark, then click on the text Google Drive. Login.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. IMPORTANT: In the File Format section, change the selection from &#8220;note&#8221; to <strong>PDF+Recording&#8221;<\/strong>. This is so you can open up your notes just about anywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Getting files from Drive into Notability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/tech2.mountdesales.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Notability-icons.jpg?w=474\" alt=\"The import icon is the middle one.\"\/><figcaption>The middle icon is &#8220;import&#8221;.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>FIRST:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Get your Dividers and Subjects setup in Notability<\/li><li>Select a location[folder] &nbsp;in Notability.<br \/>THEN select what to import. Drive is organized just like notability was \u2013 if you had folders\/dividers in Notability, then you will see folders in Drive, inside the Notability folder.<br \/><em>Your Notability selection is WHERE the files will be imported to.<\/em><\/li><li>You will need to do this for each folder\/divider you set up.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you get Notability setup:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open up Notability<\/li><li>Click the icon, top right, that looks like a square with an arrow going INTO it<\/li><li>Select Google Drive<\/li><li>It should automatically show you the Notability folder on your Drive.<\/li><li>Select what you\u2019d like to import.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">REMEMBER THAT Folders on Drive = \u201cSubjects\u201d in Notability.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap has-large-font-size\">WANT HELP KEEPING YOUR NOTABILITY MATERIAL ORGANIZED?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-mds-tech\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttp:\/\/tech2.mountdesales.net\/blog\/2019\/notability-organize-your-stuff\/\n<\/div><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Backing up Notability to Drive First, Open Notability. 2.
