If you have upgraded your iPad to IOS 12, and now your iBooks are missing, try these fixes [taken from a variety of locations across the web<\/em>}:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Check for another system update<\/strong> in Settings –> General –> Software Update. [Student iPads –> This has to be done at home.]<\/em><\/li>\n
  2. Do the iPad Reboot Dance<\/a>.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Redownload the books<\/strong>. In iBooks, click the link “Purchased”. Choose the ebooks you need to recover.<\/li>\n
  4. Redownload from iCloud<\/strong>. assuming iCloud is set to backup your iBooks, then this might work.
    \nSettings –> AppleID (at top left) –> iCloud.
    \nSwipe down and turn the iBooks switch OFF.
    \nWait 30 seconds.
    \nDo the\u00a0     iPad Reboot Dance<\/a>.<\/strong>
    \nBack to Settings –> AppleID (at top left) –> iCloud –> iBooks.
    \nTurn the iBooksswitch ON.
    \nCheck iBooks.<\/li>\n
  5. Offload the iBooks app.<\/strong>
    \nGo to Settings –> General –> iPad Storage –> scroll down to iBooks.
    \nTap OFFLOAD APP.
    \nShutdown, then restart the device.
    \nGo back intoSettings –> General –> iPad Storage –> and press REINSTALL APP.
    \nCheck iBooks.
    \nIf the books are still not there [or aren’t loading], then reboot your device again.<\/li>\n
  6. Toggle iBooks Sync Off, then On<\/strong>.
    \nSettings –> iBooks –> Sync Bookmarks and Notes.
    \nOpen iBooks.
    \nIf they haven’t shown up, then close iBooks, change it back to ON, and check again<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
